16^th March 2021, Avantika University conducted a program on cleanliness and self-employment under the Mahatma Gandhi Village Cleanliness Campaign. The program was conducted in the village of Tanakariya, Ujjain by the faculty and students of Avantika University, Ujjain.

The program was conducted under the guidance of Rupal Joshi, Assistant professor - School of Design, and the efforts of Mr. Umesh Verma - Sarpanch of Tanakariya. The thought behind the program was to spread awareness about hygiene and self-employment in rural areas. Prof. Rupal Joshi discussed women’s regimen and sanitation to dispel all misconceptions and taboos by presenting evidence and original values. Simultaneously, the workshop was conducted on bangle making along with the brief on Corona, sanitary hygiene, and menstruation through Nukad Natak and play.
